ILOILO City – A drug pushing suspect and his woman companion were arrested in Barangay Balabago, Jaro district.

Conrad Glores, 35, and Kathy Jane Gabion were both residents of Barangay Tanza Bonifacio, City Proper. They were detained at the Jaro police station around 9:20 a.m. on Jan. 8.

The antidrug operation was a joint effort of the Regional Anti-Illegal Drugs Task Group of the Police Regional Office 6 and Jaro police station.

An undercover police officer initially bought from the suspects shabu worth P9,000.

Twenty-two more sachets were recovered from them.

Glores and Gabion allegedly got their shabu supply from Manila.

Prior to the buy-bust operation, the suspects were placed under surveillance.

Police described Glores a “high-value target.”/PN
