BACOLOD City – Separate antidrug operations in Cauayan town and Cadiz, Himamaylan and Kabankalan cities in Negros Occidental led to the arrest of four suspects.

Two plastic packs of suspected shabu and a cellphone were seized from the 34-year-old Benjie Panes. He sold a pack of the substance to an undercover police officer for P500.

Operatives from the Regional Public Safety Company arrested Panes around 7:14 p.m. on May 18 in Sitio Canipaan, Barangay Banquerohan, Cadiz City.

In Himamaylan City, the 44-year-old Marry Jane Glaraga was nabbed for allegedly dealing suspected shabu in Barangay Aguisan. Two plastic packs of the substance were seized from her during the operation around 4:30 p.m. on May 18.

Bobby Khe Galon, 33, of Barangay Caliling, Cauayan was also caught for allegedly selling a plastic pack of suspected shabu for P200.

Loney Aberia was arrested for causing alarm and scandal on Lirazan Street, Barangay 5, Kabankalan City. At the police station, he yielded a plastic pack of suspected shabu and a broken tooter.

All suspects were detained and charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
