BORACAY – Seven cruises are scheduled to make their port calls in this world-famous island from Nov. 21 to Dec. 25, according to the Department of Tourism (DOT).

The MS Celebrity Millennium of Celebrity Cruises will bring 3,000 passengers and crew members in the island on Nov. 21, after its cruise from Singapore, Vietnam and Hong Kong.

The visitors will stay in the island for about two weeks, the DOT said.

The MS Celebrity Millennium will be back in the island with another 3,000 passengers on Dec. 5.

Another ship, the MS World Dream of Dream Cruises, will have four cruises in Boracay on Nov. 22, Nov. 29, Dec. 13, and Dec. 29.

The MS World Dream – with a 4,000 and 2,000 passenger and crew member capacity, respectively – has visited the island resort on Aug. 30 this year.

MSC Lirica of MSC Cruises, meanwhile, will dock in the island on Dec. 25 carrying about 2,790 passengers and crew members.

DOT has recorded nine cruises that made port calls in the island with over 17,000 passengers and crew members from January to October this year.

The cruises were of luxury liners Seabourn Sojourn, MS Crystal Symphony, Secen Seas Voyager, MS Europa, MS Celebrity Constellation, and Skysea Golden Era, among others, said the DOT. (Aklan Forum Journal/PN)
