BACOLOD City – A male minor was arrested for allegedly taking the service firearm of a mall security guard, a police report showed.

The minor was turned over to the Women and Children Protection Desk of the Bacolod City Police Office.

The police report did not state the age of the delinquent child caught on Dec. 27 in Barangay 16.

Bernard Sarona, 26, who was posted at Lopue’s San Sebastian in Barangay 14, told the police he woke up from a nap that day to find his service firearm, which he placed beside him, missing.

Sarona reviewed the store’s security camera and discovered that the male minor took his .38 pistol, police said./PN
