YOU know you’re doing food right when models / it girls Solenn Heussaff and Isabelle Daza couldn’t resist asking for seconds and some extra rice – as featured in an episode of the duo’s “Taste Buddies” travel guide.

That’s what Bucket Shrimps has to offer: Great food you just can’t help but dig your hands into.

With four wildly successful locations in Cebu and another beach-side spot on the way in Boracay, Bucket Shrimps has brought it’s delectable bucket lovin’ to Iloilo. Are you ready to dive into a large helping of some Cajun-style shrimp?

“Bucket Shrimps is an experience,” shares Chad Regner, the man behind the phenomenon. Bucket Shrimps’ no frills dining puts their amazing food in the spotlight, encouraging diners to attack “hands on” their selection of mouth-watering dishes served in buckets, armed only with Bucket Shrimp’s signature manila paper bib and a pair of disposable gloves.

Imagine what could be the best boodle fight ever: Generous servings of Bucket Shrimps’ trademark Cajun sauce-soaked shrimp, a plate of juicy Liempoloco, the best curry chicken “sexy legs” in town, and some good old-fashioned smoky ribs for good measure – with heaps of steaming rice to satisfy any appetite. The best part is you and your entire barkada can fill your guts at very affordable prices.

“The first time I visited Iloilo, I fell in love right away,” Chad told Panay News. “This year I decided we needed to expand to more locations, Iloilo was a perfect fit.”

Established in 2013, Bucket Shrimps was first ran from Chad’s grandmother’s garage. Fast forward to 2017, it’s become a successful chain of restaurants and has grown synonymous with quality shrimp in Cebu – and now they’re seeking to expand their reach.

“The common denominator for Bucket Shrimps’ locations is water,” explains Chad on why he chose Iloilo as his first venture outside Cebu. “Facing the water, by the water, or with a great view of the water, that’s why our currently location near the Iloilo river is ideal.”

Bucket Shrimps’ new spot is located at Esplanade One, on one end of the Iloilo River Esplanade, with great views of the “I Am Iloilo” slogan sign and the rejuvenated Iloilo River.

Franchised by the brothers Eric and Aries Enriquez, Bucket Shrimps Iloilo is poised to take Ilonggos’ appetites by storm.

“Building a reputation, especially in Cebu, of ‘If you’re looking for shrimp, you go to Bucket Shrimps’ that accomplishment alone was already enough for me,” said businessman extraordinaire Chad. “But to spread the word and to spread the love of it, here in Iloilo and beyond, that’s a great bonus.”

Bucket Shrimps is open 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. every day. For questions or reservations you may contact 0917-631-3720 or message the official Bucketlovn Shrimps Iloilo Facebook page./PN
