BACOLOD City – Playing cards and betting in front of the San Sebastian Cathedral got them arrested.

Police Station 1 officers caught the following playing pares-pares:

* Marcello Llagono, 25, of Cauayan, Negros Occidental

* Ale Buayaban, 42, of Sagay City, Negros Occidental

* Archie Olivares, 42, of Barangay 8, Bacolod City

They were facing illegal gambling charges, police said.

Seized from them after their arrest on Wednesday were a set of playing cards and P59 worth of bet money, police said./PN
