BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in Silay City, Negros Occidental for violating Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
The 20-year-old Keane Cholo Pari-an of Talisay City, Negros Occidental was arrested on the strength of a warrant issued by Judge Dyna Doll Chiongson-Trocio of the Regional Trial Court in Silay City dated Feb. 28.
Pari-an was detained at the Silay City police station lockup facility.
The arrest happened on Nov. 17, police said.
The court recommended a P120,000 bail bond for Pari-an’s temporary liberty./PN
