We were brought to Hong Kong and China to see the opportunities there and in return, they (investors) are now here in the city of Iloilo to taste the Ilonggo hospitality and as well as look for the things that have been presented to them (in Hong Kong), and the viability of putting up their own business and investments in the city of Iloilo,” said Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog.

“The excitement of the group (investors), I can feel it,” said Aguado.

“I think, we are now in the motion of exploring what Iloilo needs and what Hong Kong Hainan, China can supply. We, in the business sector would like to explore the business side of things. And we are happy to find such amazing host (and) it is so amazing to be here and I am very proud sa akon kasimanwa,” added Aguado who is also an Ilonggo.

Iloilo Business Club (IBC) executive director Ma. Victoria Lea Lara said the business sector is hopeful that more business opportunities will open up in the city and province of Iloilo after the return mission of the 14 investors.
