ILOILO City – A classroom at the Iloilo City National High School was vandalized by suspected members of a gang of minors.

Police were still trying to identify the vandals as of this writing.

School guard Melanie Vecendario told the Molo police station that she discovered the vandalism in the classroom labeled “SSC 10 Newton” at around 9:40 p.m. on Oct. 10.

Night-shift security guards Zaldy Segura and Kenneth Apohin saw three minors entering the classroom at around 12 midnight on Oct. 9, police investigation showed.

Segura and Apohin chased the minors but failed to catch them.

The culprits entered the classroom by detaching the glass window and spray-painted the inside with images including the letters “MS,” the name of an alleged gang in the school, police said.

Personal belongings left by students occupying the classroom were scattered, said the police./PN
