ILOILO City ā€“ A native of Barangay Busay, Bago City, Negros Occidental told the police his employer hurt him.

The 29-year-old Ian Supena works for Nico Go, a resident of Puerto Real Subdivision in La Paz district, a police report showed.

The report did not indicate what kind of work Supena has.

Supena told the police his misunderstanding with Go turned into an argument at around 12 noon on Feb. 18 on Iznart Street, Barangay Magsaysay, City Proper.

Go then punched Supena on the stomach and choked him, the latter said.

Supena was subjected to a medical checkup. Go cannot be reached for comment as of this writing. Police referred the case to the barangay lupon./PN
