ROXAS City – After he went missing for three days, an engineer was found lifeless on the third floor of an unfinished building of the Philippine Coast Guard in this capital city.

Relatives and some workers discovered the body of Engineer Roger Banico of President Roxas, Capiz already in the state of decomposition on Dec. 10, a police report showed.

Banico is the project engineer of the building where he was found.

His co-workers have not seen Banico for three days in the construction site in Barangay Culasi, they told the Roxas City police.

He was also not at home, prompting his relatives to come to the construction site to look for him, police said.

They forcibly opened the door of the room where they discovered Banico. It was locked.

The scene of the crime operatives have yet to determine what caused Banico’s death.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing as of this writing./PN
