‘Help us find missing smartphone, passport’

ILOILO City – Two people sought help from the police in finding their missing smartphone and passport.

The 27-year-old Joeseph Adriane Cazeñas reported to the police that he lost his black Asus Zenfone 2 Laser S worth P8,995.

A resident of Barangay 9, Tigbauan, Iloilo, Cazeñas said he placed his phone on top of a Metrobank automated teller machine (ATM) booth on General Luna Street, City Proper at around 6 p.m. on Feb. 11.

Cazeñas withdrew cash and left, leaving his phone behind.

He returned to the ATM booth when he realized that his phone was missing but the gadget was no longer there, a police report stated.

On the other hand, the 41-year-old Ann Chendie Collins of Barangay DB Ledesma, Jaro district reported to the police she lost her passport.

Collins believed she left the brown envelope that contained her Department of Foreign Affairs-issued passport (No. EC0988166) at Jollibee in Barangay Edganzon, City Proper where she ate lunch at around 11:40 a.m. on Feb. 12.

She returned to the fast-food restaurant to retrieve it but the envelope was no longer there, stated the police report./PN
