ILOILO City – A pawnshop and money-remittance center was damaged after a public utility jeepney rammed a motorcycle in Jaro district at around 3 p.m. yesterday.
The motorcycle fell on its side and crashed against the glass wall of M Lhuillier on corner Divinagracia-Simon Ledesma streets.
Jaro CPU Ungka ITGSI jeepney driver Dexter Arenal, 32, of Arevalo said he lost control of his vehicle when its brakes malfunctioned.
Arenal said he tried to avoid another vehicle before him by swerving to the left but he overshot the road and rammed the motorcycle.
The jeepney was damaged on the left portion of its front bumper while the motorcycle sustained damage on its left side./PN
