IT SAYS SO much when President Rodrigo Duterte has to call all the mayors of these islands to Malacañang and give them all a dressing down on their failure to even make a dent in their respective areas on the ongoing drug wars.
Of course, there are exceptions as not all of them are completely useless. So what does it really say? One, they’re involved in narco-politics that the President has to literally shot them. Two, they’re bloody cowards. Three, they’re incompetents who really do not know what to do. And four, they’re just the wives of the previous mayor who finished all three terms and they’re sitting in for their husbands till he’s eligible to run again so almost always this wife is a nincompoop.
It also says so much when the legitimacy of the election of the sitting Vice President Leni Robredo is not accepted by most of the natives. It does help her at all to gain the acceptance of the natives when all that she does is make herself look good and make President Rodrigo Duterte look bad. The photoshopped cover photos just show her extreme vanity, nothing more. The “Typhoon Nina Fiasco” exposed her for what she is – an opportunistic hypocrite who chooses going on a vacation to the US instead of being there for her fellow Bicolanos in times of calamity. And now we have “LeniLeaks” linking her involvement with American billionaire Loida Nicolas Lewis in a plot to oust President Rodrigo Duterte.
And speaking of Loida Nicolas Lewis, what has this American whose only claim to riches is being the widow of TLC Beatrice founder and CEO Reginald Lewis who left her a $2-billion multinational food company meddling in the affairs of the Philippines? After shagging her way to billions, this bored senior citizen took it upon herself to satisfy her orgasm by manipulating the government and citizens of the Philippines. We are certainly not her toys for her personal satisfaction. If she’s using Leni Robredo as her dildo to achieved orgasm in her manipulation schemes, she won’t achieve orgasm as Leni Robrdedo is a flat presidential spare tire.
What about Leila de Lima besides being fat and ugly? She’s probably one of the main drivers why the illegal drugs trade became the growth industry under that nincompoop President Noynoy Aquino. Now she fancies herself as a metamorphosis of Joan of Arc, Mother Teresa and Sharon Stone who happens to be shagging her driver and security because of “frailties of a woman.” My foot! She’s just a sexual predator who took advantage of her position when she was the Secretary of Justice. The natives are scratching their heads how she even won as senator. Oh well, let’s not forget, like Leni her votes came from the Precinct Count Optical Scanner Machine or PCOS.
And we have the “Big Man” in the Senate, Franklin Drilon who I might say is on the obese side. This man has ingratiated himself to all known Presidents from Ferdinand Marcos down to Noynoy Aquino. It’s too early to tell how he will worm his way to the Duterte side although I hear that Digong is wary to his ways. He is the self-proclaimed “Godfather” of politics in Iloilo city and province and he is the “father” of the Iloilo Convention Center and other multi-million projects, including the controversial Jalaur River dam project.
What do all these tell you? That the Philippines is a screwed up country with a damaged psyche and a distorted sense of nationalism, that is if the natives have any idea what it means. This is probably the only country where the ambition of the natives is a “green card.”
