BACOLOD City – A 20-year-old man was found dead in Barangay Binicuil, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Marvin John Perido committed suicide by hanging, police said. His father, Felix, found him hanging from the ceiling of his bedroom with a rope tied around his neck on Sunday.
Perido was declared dead at the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital. His relatives described him a “silent” person and suspected he had personal and family problems, police said.
Police recovered from his bedroom a 3-meter rope and what they claimed a suicide note./PN
