ILOILO City – A lending company collector has been accused of selling suspected shabu.
Police caught the 39-year-old Hunter Azaolo in Barangay North Baluarte, Molo district.
Azaolo – a resident of Zone 7, Barangay Calumpang, Molo – sold a sachet of the substance to a poseur buyer for P1,200, police said.
He tried to escape on board his brown Honda RS 125 motorcycle but was arrested after he crashed against a Honda City sedan, a police report showed.
Azaolo sustained scratches on various parts of the body.
Nine more sachets of suspected shabu and P1,500 cash believed to be drug sale proceeds were seized from him.
Aside from violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, Azaolo may possibly face a damage to property charge for the damage the sedan incurred, police said.
Operatives from the Police Regional Office 6’s Regional Drug Enforcement Unit and the Molo police station staged the buy-bust at around 1:30 p.m. on March 12./PN
