BACOLOD City – A complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act has been filed against a 25-year-old resident of Barangay Taculing.

Police arrested Jefrey Panaligan for allegedly creating alarm and scandal and brandishing a .38-caliber revolver at three people in Barangay Mansilingan on May 24.

Christian Geronimo, 23, and Sigboy Gila, 20, both residents of Sagay City, Negros Occidental, and Cheryll Dela Torre, 23, of Bayawan City, Negros Oriental filed the complaint against Panaligan at Police Station 7.

Aside from the revolver loaded with three live bullets, police also seized from the suspect two empty shells inside his shoulder bag.
