ILOILO City – A 21-year-old man was accused of assaulting a 56-year-old woman in Barangay Baybay Tanza.
Jerwin Consolacion was detained at Police Station 1.
Barangay tanod Hector Siaton placed him under citizen arrest.
Remedios Raposo was walking in the village around 10 a.m. on June 28 when Consolacion suddenly punched and kicked her, a police report showed.
Raposo was advised to seek medical attention for her injuries./PN
