BACOLOD City – On Valentine’s Day, a resident of Barangay 9, Isabela, Negros Occidental accidentally shot himself, a police report showed.
The 25-year-old Jovan Gallego sustained a gunshot wound on the lower part of the chest.
Gallego was rushed to the South Bacolod General Hospital where he was confined.
He fired at himself by mistake after drawing out a .45 pistol tucked in his waist at 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 14 in Barangay Libas, Isabela, investigation showed./PN
