ILOILO City – A 35-year-old mentally-ill man in Barangay Bagongon, Concepcion, Iloilo did not survive the 10 stab wounds inflicted on him.
Rodel Divinagracia was found dead by fishermen along the shore of the coastal village around 5:45 a.m. yesterday.
“He may have been attacked by drunken men,” said Chief Inspector Abner Jordan, Concepcion police chief.
No suspect was named as of this writing.
“He may have a mental illness but he wasn’t a violent man,” said Jordan.
Divinagracia was wearing only his underwear and a shirt when found.
“We’re getting more information from his family and relatives,” said Jordan.
Divinagracia was last seen alive Tuesday morning walking near their house./PN
