ILOILO City – A man was accused of running away with a microphone from a store without paying the cashier.

The 32-year-old Mark Harold Palma of Barangay North Baluarte, Molo district was caught in Barangay Rizal Pala-pala, City Proper on Sunday and was detained at Police Station 1.  

The security guard of the store, John Christian Paja of Barangay Bolo, Carles, Iloilo, chased Palma until he apprehended the suspect.

Two residents of Barangay Rizal Pala-pala helped chase and catch Palma, too – 29-year-old Denmark Pagayon and 50-year-old Rommel Magsoling.

Paja recovered from Palma the microphone worth P345./PN
