ILOILO City – What would a 16-year-old boy possibly do with a shotgun?
Police officers in the municipality of Sibalom in Antique province were wondering.
The officers apprehended the minor, a resident of Barangay Sumaray, Sibalom, around 6:45p.m. on July 15.
They were conducting a saturation drive when they spotted the boy with a sling bag in Barangay Villahermosa, Sibalom, a police report showed.
The officers got suspicious.
When they checked his bag, police found a loaded homemade 12-gauge shotgun.
The 16-year-old was turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development./PN
