MANILA – At least three people, including a 2-year-old child, have died amid tropical storm “Urduja,” the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said.

The child and another casualty were a result of separate landslides in Leyte, NDRRMC executive director Ricardo Jalad said in a press briefing yesterday.

A fisherman was also found dead off the coast of Dinagat Island.

Six people have gone missing – three from Eastern Samar and three from Biliran, Leyte – while four were injured – two from Biliran and two from Tacloban – the NDRRMC said.
