BACOLOD City – The drug enforcement unit of the Bacolod City Police Office seized shabu with a total market value of P230,000 in two separate buy-bust operations in the city.
The first involved two drug suspects nabbed on Lacson Street, Barangay Mandalagan around 3 a.m. on Aug. 10, a police report showed.
Resident Ullodin Akil, 33, and 19-year-old Arjie Villarosa of Barangay Mansilingan sold shabu to an undercover police officer for P500.
Confiscated from Akil and Villarosa were seven sachets of shabu valued at P180,000, a weighing scale and a coin purse.
Thirty minutes after, 29-year-old Arvi Salavar of Barangay Mandalagan was caught for selling shabu to another undercover officer for P500 on C.L. Montelibano Street, Barangay Montelibano.
Two sachets of shabu valued at P50,000 were recovered from Salavar. Police also confiscated his tricycle.
The three suspects were detained and facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
