MANILA ā€“ San Beda Red Lions turned to Robert Bolick and Clint Doliguez in the endgame to score a 57-53 win over the University of Perpetual Help Altas in NCAA Season 93 menā€™s basketball yesterday at the UPH Gym in Las PiƱas City.

Trailing 53-52 after a conversion by Altasā€™ Pido, Doliguez swung the lead to the Red Lions with a booming triple. It was followed afterwards by two free throws by Bolick to seal the win.

Doliguez, a native of Iloilo City, led the way with 11 markers for the defending champion Red Lions.

Bolick nearly had a triple-double as he finished with 10 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists, while Jomari Presbitero and Jayvee Mocon combined for 17 markers.

With the win, the Red Lions tallied its sixth consecutive victory to remain at second place with 7-1 win-loss slate.

ā€œEven if itā€™s an ugly win, we will take that,ā€ said Red Lions head coach Teodorico Fernandez. ā€œI am glad that Clint stepped up again for us. I just hope he will be consistent.ā€

Cameroonian center Prince Eze finished with double-double 11 points and 17 rebounds to lead the way for the Altas, which has slid down to 3-5 win-loss record in the standings.

Over at the San Juan Arena, Lorenzo Navarro came up with clutch baskets as San Sebastian College Stags escaped with a 75-73 win over Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals.
