ILOILO City – A boardinghouse tenant on corner Burgos-Mabini streets, La Paz district reported to the police that a fellow tenant slapped her.

Marie Fevely Tugo complained of pain on her face.

Tugo identified her attacker as Christina Lamatao. She said the incident happened on Oct. 24.

It was not immediately clear what the reason for the slapping was.

Lamatao cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.

Also in La Paz, a man reported to the police that he lost his temporary operator’s permit (TOP).

Jahffar Tumamudtamud discovered that the document was missing when he disembarked from his car at around 3 p.m. on Oct. 20 on Huervana Street.

He told the police about it on Oct. 23. He said the last thing he remembered was he placed the TOP on the back pocket of his pants.

The man tried to search for the document, to no avail./PN
