ILOILO City – Local law enforcers arrested a resident of Barangay Patong-Patong, Janiuay, Iloilo.
Village councilmen and watchmen caught the 41-year-old Alvin Palo wielding a homemade 12-gauge shotgun, a police report showed.
Palo was detained at the Janiuay police station after his arrest at around 5 a.m. on Jan. 11.
He did not have pertinent documents proving his legal ownership of the weapon.
He was facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, police said./PN
