IT’S OFFICIAL: Noynoy Aquino is an idiot who is not aware of anything happening during his watch as President of the Philippines.

From PhilStar’s Dec. 14 issue:

No one came forward to express their objection against dengue vaccine Dengvaxia when the previous administration decided to roll out its national immunization program, former President Benigno Aquino III said Thursday.

Facing the Senate Blue Ribbon and Health committees, Aquino defended his administration’s controversial dengue vaccination program, which was launched in April 2016.

“Before the government decided on Dengvaxia, while deciding, and even after deciding, no one came to me with objection to the vaccine,” Aquino told the Senate panel.

And this from GMA News Online’s Dec. 6 report:

A former undersecretary of the Department of Health (DOH) on Wednesday said that the department’s Formulary Executive Council did not give the go-signal for the government’s purchase of P3.5 billion worth of Dengvaxia vaccine.

“Ang Formulary Executive Committee ng DOH simula’t sapul tutol sila dito. They did not want to use Dengvaxia on a mass scale,” former DOH undersecretary Susan Mercado said in an Unang Balita interview.

Mercado added that panel had also denied the request then of the DOH leadership, under former secretary Janette Garin, for “exceptional approval for one year only.”

She said that when the council finally approved the purchase of Dengvaxia from Sanofi Pasteur, it recommended that it be done in a stage procurement and advised the government not to buy the vaccine in bulk or the whole P3.5 billion deal.

The Food and Drug Administration of the Philippines approved the sale of Dengvaxia in December 2015.

Mercado, however, clarified that “license to sell is different from the approval for the government to buy it.”

The World Health Organization had said that it did not recommend the use of Dengvaxia.

She said that the P3.5-billion Dengvaxia deal and the actual administration of the vaccine during the administration of President Benigno Aquino III was a scam because it did not go through the required government processes.

Mercado also said that among the recommendations of the Formulary Executive Council was to administer the vaccine in small populations only.

I presume you’re a sensible person. Now, does this look like there was no objection to the purchase and use of Dengvaxia during the watch of former President Noynoy Aquino?

Yes, there were objections against the purchase of the vaccine Dengvaxia from French pharmaceutical Sanofi Pasteur, more so on its use on Filipino schoolchildren. In fact most of these objections came from experts.

The thing is they were ignored by Aquino’s people and presented him with a picture-perfect scenario wherein Dengvaxia is the “wonder drug” against dengue or perhaps they presented him with the profits if they purchase Dengvaxia from Sanofi Pasteur.

Whatever the reasons were, people, it is official that the previous President of the Republic of the Philippines, one Benigno Simeon Aquino III aka Noynoy Aquino, is the village idiot.

Any sensible person, before making a decision on something important such as this – and take note the lives of millions of Filipino schoolchildren are at stake – will explore and look into all possible angles and information whether for or against.

But then again, Noynoy Aquino is a singular individual who believes he’s infallible. Well, I suppose if you’re made to believe that you are the offspring of the father of Philippine democracy and an almost saint mother, other than that he’s just a nincompoop.

The thing is once Noynoy Aquino sets his mind on something, any negative feedback he will consider as a personal affront and it is not on anybody’s favor to be on the negative side of the President of the Republic.

You know this man should not even be the President, much less a public official. Accountability is not in his vocabulary. Whenever a faux pas happened during his administration it was always somebody’s fault and his lame excuse was that he did not know.

He sent 44 SAF troopers of the Philippine National Police to be massacred by the Moro Islamic Liberation Front or MILF just so he can claim bragging rights over the capture/death of an international terrorist; theses 44 SAF were massacred in an ambush but it wasn’t his fault and he was not their Commander-in-Chief.

And if this massacre did not happen he almost gave away Mindanao to the MILF so he can be up for nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Now he made 700,000 schoolchildren as guinea pigs by having the Department of Health vaccinate them with the experimental drug Dengvaxia which resulted in an inadvertent genocide as these 700,000 schoolchildren became strongly susceptible to the severe and fatal form of dengue.

All this for bragging rights or profit, or possibly both. Then again perhaps Noynoy Aquino just does not really care. (brotherlouie16@gmail.com)/PN
