BACOLOD City – Five sachets of shabu were confiscated from twin brothers in Canetown Subdivision, Barangay 19-A, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.

The 35-year-old Jeffry and Jason Arojo, both residents of the village, were caught after selling a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer for P500, a police report showed.

When frisked, the brothers yielded four more sachets of shabu valued at P20,000.

Police also confiscated from them P370 cash and drug paraphernalia.

The Arojos were detained at the Victorias City police station after their arrest around 10 p.m. on Monday.

They were facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The operation was staged by the Victorias City police station and the Negros Police Provincial Office Drug Enforcement Unit./PN
