BACOLOD City – A man was found dead along the national road in Sitio Bino, Barangay Orong, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Officers from the Kabankalan City police station have yet to identify the man.
A village councilman discovered the body while he was driving a motorcycle around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, a police report showed.
Police Officer 3 Ramonito Regalia Jr. and Police Officer 2 Elmer Talatala said the man sustained three gunshot wounds on the head.
Barangay Peace Action Team member Hernan Lito Sulbo-an told the police that he heard fur gunshots near the area around 12:30 a.m. on the same day.
Sulbo-an added that he also saw a delivery truck fled the area.
