ILOILO City – Eleven Iloilo squads, eight in the boys and three in the girls, have qualified to the regional finals of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas 3×3 Basketball during Iloilo City qualifications at the Ateneo de Iloilo Gym here.
Hua Siong College of Iloilo has three qualified teams. These are the following:
* Cedrick Manzano, Glaidimer Sapio, Richie Galvez, and Paolo Villariza of Phoenix
* Dave Bagatnan, Reniel Gamboa, Jaspher Antijedra, and Julian Puerto
* Jessie Beker, Christian Palilei, Jims Jimiera, and Zion Sigua of Dragon
St. Robert’s International Academy Panda Rockets had two qualified teams in:
* A squad of Matt Atanas, Kent Parreñas, Louie Villarosa, and Irele Galas
* B team of Renz Dinzon, Roy Jacinto, Mark Almajo, and John Amagan
Other qualified boys team were the following:
* Mon Pedrajas, Kimrey Servano, Rogelle Alvaladejo, and Michael Jayme of Santa Clarita International School Primes
* Agapito Clarito, Coolen Sayco, JM Delos Santos, and John Vicencio of University of San Agustin
* Adrian Cortez, Reyvin Paclibar, Davies Palma, and Renmark Borbon of Jalandoni Memorial National High School
Three qualified teams in girls side were the following:
* Keena Teruel, Andrea Lemana, Jemma Antoniano, and Sherin Sumalacay of Team Stick
* Leojean Montoya, Vhanbe Chua, Jay Ann Almoguerra, and Reean Villegas of Iloilo City National High School
* Pia Palmares, Gaz Altas, Eden Estapon and Freely Ipedro of Central Philippine University
The qualified teams from the Iloilo City leg will compete in the Region 6 Regional Finals on Sept. 29 at the Ateneo de Iloilo Gym against the qualifiers from Antique, Capiz, Aklan, Passi City and Negros Occidental/Bacolod./PN
