ILOILO City – More than 73,000 or some 16 percent of the total target population of this southern city have been fully vaccinated.

As of July 27, records of the City Health Office showed that of the 73,174 vaccinees, 41,293 individuals got the CoronaVac (Sinovac) jabs and 9,556 received AstraZeneca. Some 22,325, meanwhile, got the single-dose Johnson & Johnson.

According to Mayor Jerry Treñas, more residents will be accommodated when the city’s AstraZeneca orders arrive in August.
