ILOILO City – A total of 29 boys and girls volleyball teams are set to compete in the upcoming Gametime 17-Under Volleyball Tournament on Aug. 23–25, 2025 here.
According to Gametime Sports founder Rodolfo Go Villaruz, the girls’ division, featuring 12 teams, will play at the Imperial 3 Subdivision Uswag Gym in Mandurriao here.
The teams will be divided into two brackets, with the top two from each bracket advancing to the semifinals, and the winners moving on to the championship match.
Participating teams are: SCIS Iloilo City, NVC Aklan, ICSA, Fire Antz Capiz, Buenavista NHS Guimaras, CHJ Iloilo, Barotac Nuevo NHS, St. Joseph Capiz, San Rafael NHS, Purisima Capiz, and Oton Selection.
Meanwhile, the boys’ division, which will be held at the Buntatala Gym, is expected to have 20 teams divided into four brackets.
The top two teams from each bracket will advance to the quarterfinals, with the top four squads proceeding to the semifinals and finals.
Current entries include: Buenavista NHS, Oton NHS, ICA, Livingstones BCLD, RHTHS Concepcion, Salvacion NHS Guimaras, ICNHS Iloilo City, NVC Aklan, Junior Tigers Capiz, Pavia NHS, Jordan NHS Guimaras, CHJ Iloilo City, San Rafael NHS, St. Joseph Capiz, Passi Montessori, Flare Ants Capiz, BMG Batad, and GBA Guimaras.
