ROXAS City – Two motorcycle drivers lost their lives in a collision around 10:24 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3, on the national highway in Barangay Bolo, Roxas City.
They were identified as Neil John Dadivas, a 27-year-old resident of the city’s Barangay Adlawan, and Bernaldo Duran Jr., a 47-year-old resident of Sitio Jail, Barangay Lawaan here.
According to the initial investigation of the Roxas Component City Police Station, Duran allegedly swerved into Dadivas’ lane, which caused the collision.
Due to the impact, both motorcycles were thrown off the road. A gas tank leakage also brought a fire hazard.
The Capiz Emergency Response Team brought the two drivers to separate hospitals. However, both succumbed to their injuries./PN
