BACOLOD City – Two men passing through a Commission on Elections (Comelec) checkpoint in Barangay Mansilingan in this city were arrested after a suspected shabu and a bladed weapon were recovered from their possession.
Aliases “Aljon”, 33, and “Romnick”, 26, were both residents of Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Officers of the Bacolod City Mobile Force Company (BCMFC) apprehended the motorcycle-riding suspects at around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14.
Recovered from them were a transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu and a knife.
The suspects are now in the custody of the police for proper disposition./PN
