BACOLOD City — Two residents from hinterland barangays in Kabankalan City were shot dead on Tuesday.
Benito De la Paz, 35, of Barangay Oringao was on his way to his farm when he was shot dead.
Police records showed the suspect used a shotgun.
The police recovered an empty firearm cartridge from the crime scene.
In Barangay Bantayan, Ramil Lopez, 35, was inside his house when he was shot by an unidentified suspect.
Lopez died while he was being brought to the hospital, the police said.
The Kabankalan police station is investigating of the cases./PN
