ILOILO – At around 6 a.m. on Oct. 14, passersby found a dead man and a fallen motorcycle along the road in Barangay Balabag, Dumangas town.
Cyrus Malones was a resident of Barangay Bungca, Barotac Nuevo.
From the information it has so far gathered, the police of Dumangas theorized that the motorcycle-driving Malones was on his way home from work but likely accidentally crashed against a pile of wood stacked by the roadside late night on Thursday or before dawn on Friday.
Malones was a construction worker at Deca Homes residential subdivision in Pavia, Iloilo, according to Police Staff Sergeant Terence Jhon Soria, investigator of the Dumangas police station.
There were no signs indicating that Malones was a victim of foul play, Soria added./PN
