4 caught in Bacolod drug bust

BACOLOD City — Four people were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Purok Avocado, Barangay 20 here.

Arrested were Lionel Agsam alias “Bukani,” 33, his wife, Lilibeth, 34, and his brother, Cender, 25; and Genilyn De Los Reyes, 25, of Zone 3, Barangay Catabla, Talisay City.

They were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 4.

Agsam was in the police drug watch list, according to Senior Inspector Jose Mulleta of the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (Caidsotg).

He was arrested at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday after handing to a poseur buyer two small sachets of suspected shabu in exchange for P200.

Caidsotg operatives then went inside their house and arrested his alleged cohorts.

Police seized from the other three were a big sachet of dried marijuana leaves, seven small sachets of suspected shabu, seven mobile phones, drug paraphernalia, and P2,730 cash believed to be proceeds from drug sale.

It was learned that De Los Reyes has graduated with a bachelor’s degree in criminology just this March./PN
