BACOLOD City – The provincial government of Negros Occidental will test some 7,500 residents for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
This was part of the government’s efforts to prevent further coronavirus transmission through earlier detection, according to Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson.
Lacson already talked with the local government executives who also signified willingness to help.
The testing would be conducted after Oct. 8.
“The shorter the time we finish it, the better,” said Lacson./PN
