ILOILO City – Former city councilor Erwin Plagata died. He was 60.
Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog ordered the Philippine flag at city hall to fly at half-mast until May 22.
In Executive Order No. 42 series of 2017, Mabilog hailed Plagata for serving the city of Iloilo with distinction and dedication.
Plagata served the Sangguniang Panlungsod from 1995 to 1998 and from 2001 to 2010.
He was Mabilog’s executive assistant from 2012 until his death this May 17 due to cardiac arrest at the Iloilo Mission Hospital.
Through the executive order, the city government expressed its sympathies to the Plagata family./PN
