BACOLOD City – A 48-year-old man was electrocuted while he was welding in Barangay Lopez Jaena, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
Resident Leonardo Cunahap accidentally touched the welding machine’s live connection in Rommel Tamayo’s shop around 9 a.m. on Friday.
Residents in the shop tried to recuse him but failed, police report showed.
His sister-in-law, 58-year-old Nilda Cunahap, informed the Sagay City police about the incident.
Leonardo’s body is now at a local funeral parlor./PN
