ILONGGO runners who want to participate in the Iloilo leg of the 41st National Milo Marathon on Oct. 8 at the Iloilo Business Park in Mandurriao, Iloilo City may now get enlisted.
Registration for the 3k and 5k categories are ongoing at the upper ground floor of SM City Iloilo and at the Sports Development Division office on the fifth floor of the Iloilo City Hall, said Division head Rommel Castro.
For reservations for the 10k and 21k categories, meanwhile, interested participants may contact 09466252566.
Registration fees for 3k and 5k are P150 for adult and P100 for children. For 10k and 21k, registrants will have to pay P750 and P850, respectively.
This year’s Milo Marathon National Finals will be held on Dec. 3 in Cebu City.
Last year the National Finals was held at the Iloilo Sports Complex. Mary Joy Tabal was crowned women’s champion while Jason Agravante won the men’s title.
This year, aside from the marathon, there will also be a cheerdance competition.
Contest divisions and their respective participants are as follows:
- Elementary – Jalandoni Memorial Elementary School, Cubay Elementary School and F. Java Kelly Elementary School

Secondary – Iloilo City National High School, Mandurriao National High School and Jaro National High School
