ILOILO City – A knife-wielding neighbor argued with him and tried to attack him with a knife but he did not know why, a resident of Barangay Tanza Esperanza, City Proper told the police.
Pedro Fuentevella, 24, said he was having a drink with friends at around 11 p.m. on Dec. 2 when Mark Legaspi confronted him.
Fuentevella said he told Legaspi he would report the latter to a barangay kagawad.
Fuentevella went to the house of village councilman Samuel Rubinas Sr. Legaspi followed him, a police report showed.
Legaspi then drew out an 11-inch knife but his companions managed to pacify him.
He fled thereafter, police said. His whereabouts were still unknown as of this writing.
The dispute was referred to the barangay lupon./PN
