ILOILO City – Two illegal drug pushing suspects were arrested yesterday in a buy-bust operation on Rizal Street, Lapuz district.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 6 operatives caught residents Maricon Demetillo and Dave Allen Barrera.
The suspects sold to undercover agents two sachets of suspected shabu (0.5 grams) for P2,500 past 12 midnight, the PDEA said.
Demetillo and Barrera were facing charges for violation of sections 5 (sale) and 26 (b) (conspiring to sell) of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
They were hauled to the custodial facility of the PDEA Region 6./PN
