ILOILO City – Police were still trying to identify who robbed a boardinghouse in Barangay General Hughes-Montes, City Proper.
A tenant, 23-year-old Virgilio Gregorio Jr., told the police he lost P15,000 cash placed in a plastic drawer.
Police learned about the incident at around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Another tenant, 23-year-old Jaycell Necosia, told the police he found the lock of the doors of his fellow tenants’ bedroom damaged at around 4:30 p.m. that day.
A rice cooker placed at the lobby was also missing, police said.
Curiously, Gregorio’s roommate Isaac Marcelino, 29, said he did not lose anything.
