BACOLOD City — Two guest relation officers were held up by suspects riding in tandem in a motorcycle at around 3 a.m. on Sept. 10 in Purok Himaya, Barangay Mansiligan here.
Lorielyn Repatado, 21, of Salvador Benedicto town and Jenny Mancia, 26, of Bago City were on their way to buy food when the suspects stopped in front of them.
Senior Police Officer 1 Agosto Velasco said the suspects threatened the victims with a pen gun an took from them a cellphone and P400.
Repatado said she was going to use the money to buy bread, coffee and kaldo in a nearby carinderia.
The victims immediately reported the incident to Police Station 7 here.
They identified one of the suspects as Jefferson “Tolindoy” Panesa after looking at the rogue’s gallery, said Velasco.
Panesa has string of holdup cases but applied for probation in the court, police records showed.
Velasco said the victims will file a case against Panesa./PN
