ILOILO City – A 15-year-old girl from Bingawan, Iloilo has accused her father of raping her twice.
The first rape happened on Sept. 17, 2017, according to the girl.
Her father came home drunk around 11 p.m., she said.
The girl’s mother was working in Saudi Arabia as a domestic helper.
The second time she was raped was on Dec. 14, 2017, said the girl.
Her fathered threatened to harm her should she tell anyone about the rape, she said.
It was only last week when the girl mustered enough courage to tell her mother about the rape. They talked over the phone.
The mother immediately flew back home from Saudi Arabia and accompanied her daughter to the police to file a report.
The father’s whereabouts are currently unknown. He left their house after learning that his wife was coming home./PN
