A LOCAL basketball team head coach is slowly losing his patience with his prized player, who has not showed up to the team’s practices and tournaments since going home to his province late last year.
A source told Buzzer Beater that the many-time champion mentor has given the player an ultimatum: show up in their school or practices within the week or he will be sacked for good.
“Masyado na siyang pinagpapasensyahan ni coach pero parang lumalaki na masyado ang ulo ni player,” said the source. “Ang dami nang palugit na ibinigay sa kanya pero binabalewala niya.”
“Biruin mo, walang sabi-sabi na basta na lang hindi nagpakita si player doon sa championship game nila noong December, tapos hanggang earlier this year no-show pa rin siya.
“Si coach malapit nang mapuno kaya binigyan na niya ng taning si player na sakaling hindi siya magpapakita by the end of the week, pasensya na lang siya, humanap na siya ng malilipatan niya.
“Sayang si player, may laro pa naman. Sabi nga noong ibang nakapanuod ng YouTube highlights niya, pwede sa Gilas Pilipinas. Sana lang maituwid niya iyong pagiging pasaway niya habang maaga pa.”/PN
