MANILA – Iloilo players are representing Western Visayas in the Samahang Basketball Pilipinas Under-18 3X3 National Finals from May 18 to 21.
Bannering the squad of head coach Rodel Camacho are Sta. Clarita International High School Primes mainstays Ralph Bajon, Kenth Lindero, Wilmer Dalumpines, and Giann Paul Nahine.
“Basta gagawin namin ang best namin sa competition,” Camacho told Panay News. “Medyo tough ang competition but mga veterans naman ito e. Nakapaglaro na ito sa Palaro(ng Pambansa) last year.”

“Sinabi ko lang sa mga players ko na i-enjoy lang nila iyong mga games nila but at the same time bring their A-game dahil ang nire-represent namin dito ay buong Western Visayas,” he added.
Camacho also the 3×3 National Finals is also a good opportunity for his four players to be scouted by Manila-based schools.
“I believe these four have the tools to compete,” said the head coach. “I am willing to give them naman if some schools will notice their talent.”
Primes earned the right to represent Western Visayas in the three-day tournament after ruling the SBP U-18 3X3 Regional Finals on April 15 at the Hua Siong Ledesco Gym in Iloilo City.
Bajon, Lindero, Nahine, and Dalumpines defeated the group of CenterPhil Montessori Silver Knights’ Ian Gasacao, Wilmar Silverio, Patrick Gain, and Sean Tigres 18-14./PN
