BACOLOD City – An Iloilo City resident was found dead in Barangay Zone 15, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
He was identified as the 40-year-old construction worker Whisbeer Paraico of Barangay Divinagracia, La Paz district.
It was Paraico’s co-worker, Jude Ramos Bacaro, who discovered him not breathing inside their barracks around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Paraico was then rushed to the Talisay City Health Unit where attending physician Dr. Joy Gladys Guanzon pronounced him “dead on arrival.”
Paraico was believed to have suffered from acute pancreatitis, but his body was still subject for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of his death./PN
